Mason Pearson Brushes is a British company specialising in the manufacture of hairbrushes.〔(History page ) on official site〕 In the mid 1860s a Yorkshireman called Mason Pearson came to work at the British Steam Brush Works, in the East End of London. In 1885 he invented the "pneumatic" rubber-cushion hairbrush which became the company's primary product and is still on sale, little changed from the original design. Mason Pearson hairbrushes are sold worldwide〔(New York Times article )〕 and are cited as the hairbrush of the UK royal family. The family business is still passed down through generations and is currently run by the Mason-Pearson family in London today. Elephant Parade 2010 in London included the "Mason" elephant which celebrated the concept of re-use using natural rubber off-cuts from Mason Pearson. This elephant was then auctioned off for charity for £30,000 pounds.〔(Elephant Parade website )〕 ==References== 〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Mason Pearson Brushes」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
